For those of you who follow me on Facebook you may have noticed the seasonal changes to my profile pictures. It all started when two friends sent me a photo they had taken of a stone path while visiting Portugal. From there it began to evolve as yet another friend sent a photo from a stroll along the Erie Canal; then another sent a fall foliage photo, and yet another has shared a snow showered winter path. I even have one from a dear friend who is already onto next summer and has shared a favored beach picture.
I’d like to say “Thank You!” to my friends who have shared their favorite “Path” pictures with me this year as well as to those of you who have shared a few footsteps with me. I thought I’d share the pictures that have meant so much to me this year. I’m looking forward to see what you have to share this next year. A special “Thank You” to Ruth, Allison, Karen, Chris, Matt, and Brian. I greatly appreciate your generosity.
While I have a dozen, or so, writings floating around my head, on scrapes of paper tucked away as bookmarks, and countless notes and thoughts in journals; I have two more post left for this before our clocks and calendars leave 2010 behind us: “The Year That Could Have Been” and “The Year That Could Be”.
Merry Christmas.
